Can I import from Facebook, Google Photos, or other services?

There's no one-click importer yet — we'd rather tell you that plainly than gesture at one. What works today: those services all offer "download your data" exports (Facebook and Google both do), and the photos and videos inside those downloads can be uploaded to your archive like any other files.

It's more manual than we'd like, and a real importer is the kind of thing we weigh for the roadmap. In the meantime, the download-then-upload route has a hidden virtue: you end up choosing what belongs in the archive, instead of importing two thousand screenshots alongside the ten photos that matter.
