Can I gift or sponsor an archive for someone?

Sponsorships and donations exist today — you can support the service in someone's honor, and sponsorships help fund archives for families who couldn't otherwise pay for extras. A true gifting flow — "here, Mom, this plan is on me," wrapped and delivered — is coming, and isn't built yet; we'd rather say so than sell you a workaround dressed as a feature.

In the meantime, the practical version works well: help them start the archive (that's the real gift — the first hour together), and write to [email protected] if you want to arrange support for their plan. We'll make it work.
