No and no. DearestEllie is an independent service, not a nonprofit; it runs on voluntary contributions and sponsors, and that support is publicly accounted for. There are no ads anywhere, no data sales, no "partnerships" that amount to either.

The incentive structure is the point: a service funded by advertisers serves advertisers. A service funded by families serves families. We chose our masters deliberately.
