HELP · QUESTIONS, ANSWERED PLAINLY
How do I delete my account, and what happens to my data?
Account erasure is available to you as a data right: it's an explicit request, it asks you to confirm because it means it, and once completed it is irreversible — your data is gone, not warehoused. We don't do dark patterns on the way out, and we don't do secret retention afterward.
Two things before you do it. First, export: your full archive, originals included, is free to take with you, and we would much rather you leave with everything than lose anything — we'll wait. Second, if other family members steward archives you contributed to, talk with them about what should happen to those contributions. When you're ready, the erasure is yours to make.
